do you guys know that halo is pretty much smarter than all of us? seriously. yesterday he casually said, "i feel like drawing a song". i did not quite realize what he meant until i looked over and he was writing music notes on paper. and then he drew people dancing to the song he wrote! a composer AND a choreographer?? where did this come from? then he informed me that the first note was a whole note, and that you hold it longer. he asked me to play his song on the guitar, and boy was he disappointed that i don't know how to read music. you better believe i did those dance moves though, all of them.

in boring news: i am sick sick sick and hating it. i pretty much want to be in my bed and/or asleep. i have been going to bed at the same time as halo and falling asleep to flashdance and step up, averaging about 11 hours of sleep per night. today i got antibiotics (officially it's a sinus infection, unofficially it's my head in a vice) and i am ready to kick some ass.

congratulations halo on your 100th day of school. boy you sure have come along way. the kids celebrated in all kinds of ways but halo said it would have best if instead they built 100 telephones. what do you think?
