birthdays!

this is me and little steve. it is our birthday on may 2nd. he is turning 25 and i am turning 26. we are having a party on saturday at the jade pagoda and you should come. we will probably make fools of ourselves and it might be entertaining.
also i love chocolate cake and cupcakes of any kind, just fyi.

one more time or one last chance?

had a night of mushy love and laughing, just what i needed. i am so lucky to have someone that makes my heart beat faster. and today is friday, the weekend awaits! work around the home will be done, and things will be drawn. also i have been reading some blogs of late mostly written by people older than i, and it gives me so much hope. its good to know people just keep on keepin' on, unafraid of failure, living their dreams. i am inspired and want to seek the unknown. yes!

so my dad brought me an early birthday present this weekend: a new digital camera!! I was thrilled and didn't really put the thing down all weekend. very cool. it's so weird to have your parents get divorced when you are an adult. i don't know how kids deal with this, cause i am not doing so well in all my grown-up-ness. i am trying to be happy for him. we took halo and ava to the children's museum to see the mister rogers neighborhood exhibit. it was absoultely amazing!

everything was so colorful and just the way i remembered it as a child. it made sad that he is dead. what an amazing person. they even had his sneakers in a glass case and the piano he used to play. halo and i played it for awhile until a little girl wanted a turn, she sat down and played some straight up classical shit. blew us out of the water. i think we might have to go back next weekend.
